Daniel Wetzel

Daniel serves as the President of Centerline Engineering while supplying strategic guidance for company growth. Daniel graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and obtained a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Leadership from Amberton University. After earning his Professional Engineer license in mid-2014, Daniel formed Centerline Engineering & Consulting as an avenue to pursue engineering design and consulting opportunities. Since establishment in 2014, Daniel has improved the systems and processes in place while creating valuable relationships with clients across the region. Daniel continues to bolster the firm’s growth through his commitment to those in and out of the company and his continuous drive.

Daniel is married to Kyla and have welcomed three amazing children together. Daniel is an avid hunter, licensed pilot, loves the outdoors, and is constantly seeking new opportunities and adventures.

Travis Barnett, Centerline Engineering's, Centerline Engineering's CEO

Travis Barnett

Travis is the CEO of Centerline Engineering and also serves as the chief geotechnical engineer on staff. Travis graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in Applied Physics, and obtained a Masters Degree from Texas Tech University in Civil Engineering. As the CEO of Centerline, Travis ensures that adequate staffing needs are applied to each project and works with project managers to see that our client’s visions are understood and achieved in every design that is produced at Centerline.

Travis is married to Kate Barnett, and they have two wonderful children together. Travis is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and serves his local community as a Board Member for the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

Jeremy Cheatham

Jeremy Cheatham, PE is Centerline’s Engineering Division Manager. With 20 years of experience, he has provided engineering design and client management services for a wide variety of land development and site development projects, as well as design and construction of public works projects including streets and roadways, utility distribution and storm drain system design and analysis. He started his career in the DFW metroplex and worked for 8 years in the Austin area before returning home to West Texas in 2014. He has extensive experience in single family development and multi-use master planned communities, as well as K-12 school facilities, higher education and medical facilities, and a wide variety of commercial facilities. Jeremy is active in several local organizations including the West Texas Home Builder’s Association where he is a member of the Developer’s Council.

Lupe Herrera

Lupe is Centerline’s Construction Division Manager. Lupe was raised in Brownfield Texas and received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. Lupe has worked in the construction industry for over 26 years and oversees the construction surveying, project management, and 3D model building for the construction department. Lupe has worked on commercial, residential, and department of transportation projects throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Lupe is married to Sheron and have four wonderful children together. He enjoys spending time with his family and staying active with sports with his children.
Justin Cantwell, Centerline Engineering's Survey Division Manager

Justin Cantwell

Justin is the Survey Division Manager at Centerline Engineering and Consulting LLC. He serves as the lead surveyor for the Lubbock office and oversees all survey projects within the company. Justin was raised in Plainview, Texas and attended Kress High School and received his bachelor's degree from West Texas A&M University. He is married to his wonderful wife Kristie and has two children.

Justin began his surveying career with the Hale County Land Surveyor's Office in 2000 and was flown through the ranks from rodman to RPLS to Division Manager with Centerline. Justin has extensive experience in multiple phases of surveying in public and private sectors including boundary, topographic, construction and control network surveys throughout the Texas Panhandle and West Texas regions.

Mackenzie Ray

Mackenzie Ray is Centerline’s Administrative Division Manager. Mackenzie graduated with an Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University, and obtained a Master’s from the University of Texas-Permian Basin. As the Administrative Division Manager, Mackenzie handles the financial matters of the business such as client billing, accounts payable, payroll, and banking. She approaches all aspects of a job with a hard-working mindset, positivity, and a passion to find solutions to any challenges.
